How do I place an order for Senior Portraits?

There are three ways to place an order for your Senior Portraits:

  1. Order online
  2. Fill out and mail in the order form with payment
  3. Order over the phone

Ordering online is the easiest option and can be done from a desktop or laptop (we apologize for the inconvenience, but no mobile phone or tablet orders can be placed at this time). Alternatively, you can fill out the order form included with your proofs. If neither of these options are available to you, you may call us when you are ready to place your order and we will be happy to assist you.

How do I view my photos online?

Your Senior Portraits will be available to view online approximately two weeks after your portrait session. In order to view them, you will need the Login Code included on your Portrait appointment letter or in your Proof package; enter your Login Code on our website to log in. If you do not have your letter or proofs, we will be happy to provide you with your Login Code!

What if I can't make my scheduled appointment?

You may log in to reschedule your appointment on our website.

If you find that there are no open appointment times available, please contact our Customer Service group.

What happens if I have missed my school's portrait dates?

You will be notified by mail with information regarding make-up dates at your school. If you are unable to attend a make-up session, or have missed your make-up appointment, it will be necessary for you to contact us by phone to schedule a sitting date for your portrait at our studio.

Can I re-take my senior portraits?

Yes, you can arrange to re-take your senior portraits by contacting our Customer Service group.

There is a $10.00 fee due at the time of your re-take which may be paid by either cash or check. You will have access to all images from both sessions for your yearbook selection and order.

Are the proofs I received retouched or color-corrected?

No. Once you have selected the proofs you wish to order, we will apply a standard digital retouch to those prints to correct for lighting, coloring and minor blemishing.

What can be retouched?

When placing an order, standard digital retouching is applied to your prints to correct for lighting, coloring and minor blemishes.  Eye-glass glare removal is free of charge when selected.  Special retouching (braces, tan lines, flyaway hair, major blemishes, etc.) is available for an additional charge. For custom retouching, please call us to ensure we receive clear instructions, so we may provide retouching that meets your specific needs.

Do I order the yearbook directly from Lors?

No. Lors supplies the images for the yearbook, but does not print the yearbook itself. To order a yearbook, you must contact your school.

When do I have to make my yearbook pose selection?

School yearbook deadline dates can change each year, therefore we recommend selecting your yearbook pose and submitting your order as soon as possible. If the deadline is approaching and we have not received your selection, we will send you an e-mail reminder. If you do not select your yearbook pose before your school's deadline, a selection will be made for you.

Which pose do I have to select for the yearbook and where do I make the selection?

Each individual school determines which background and poses can be used for their yearbook. Only poses beginning with “YB” may be used as your yearbook selection. You may select your yearbook pose from your online gallery, on your order form, or by calling us. We cannot substitute an alternate background from what the school has specified for the yearbook.

Can I place my online order on a tablet or mobile device?

Sure! Our online ordering system is optimized for touch interfaces.

How do I select the images I wish to order?

You may identify which images you want by dragging and dropping your desired images into the selection boxes online. If you are filling out the order form, please include the entire image number and the letter prefix (e.g. YB, YB2, CG, or OC) in "Section A" for clarity.

If I do not wish to order a package, may I order from Add-Ons?

No, add-ons may only be ordered once you have purchased a package. If you are not ordering a package, you must order from our A La Carte section online or on the order form.

On the order form, what is the difference between "Add-Ons" and "A La Carte"?

Add-Ons are specially priced for those customers who are purchasing a Senior Portrait package. If you wish to order prints but are not interested in purchasing one of our packages, you must order from the A La Carte section.

What is the "additional poses" add-on?

The "additional poses" add-on allows you to choose more poses than are already included in your selected package, allowing for a greater variety in the print images you receive. It does not increase the number of prints in the package itself.

When will I receive my portrait order?

After payment is received in full, your portrait order will be shipped in four to six weeks.
